Why Ferrite Magnets Are Widely Adopted in Global Industrial Production
Which Surface is the N Pole and S Pole of Arc Segment Magnets? Easy to Master at a Glance
9th July 2026
Arc segment magnets are also known as curved magnets, segmented permanent magnets, motor ferrite segments, with different names used by different customers, yet they refer to the same product. They are mainly applied in motors, bonded to the inner surface of motor housings with adhesive.
Many customers have raised the question: Which sides are the N pole and S pole of arc segment magnets? We will explain this in detail below.
The N and S pole surfaces of arc segment magnets depend mainly on the magnetizing method customized by customers. Most motor clients require paired magnetization for arc segment magnets: two magnets form a pair. One magnet has the N pole on its outer arc surface and the S pole on the inner arc surface, while the other one features the S pole on the outer arc surface and the N pole on the inner arc surface.
Manufacturers usually mark lines on the magnets with white marker pens to help customers quickly distinguish N poles from S poles and avoid assembly mistakes.
What special shapes can ferrite permanent magnets be made into?
18th June 2026
We produce magnets through one-step forming followed by precision grinding. The main custom machining processes for special-shaped ferrite magnets include edge cutting, corner chamfering, slotting and multi-hole drilling. Common special-shaped ferrite magnets include triangular, U-shaped, beveled, slotted round, slotted square, semicircular, racetrack and so on.

Can Fan-Shaped Anisotropic Ferrite Segments Realize Rare-Earth-Free Mass-Produced Axial Flux Motors? Let’s Discuss
17th June 2026
The axial flux motor sector is booming across automotive systems, home appliances and light electric vehicles.
A hot debate among motor R&D engineers right now: Can anisotropic ferrite magnets substitute rare-earth NdFeB for flat axial flux rotors?
The answer is clear: Absolutely viable for nearly all medium & low-speed mass-volume axial flux projects.
Why fan-shaped ferrite segments are a perfect match for disc-type axial flux rotors
Eliminate rare-earth supply risks & cut material costs drastically
Volatile rare-earth pricing and unstable global supply chains have long plagued motor OEMs. Anisotropic ferrite slashes magnet material expenditure by over 60% while securing steady raw material supply, making it the cost-effective pick for mass-manufactured auxiliary drives.
Fan-shaped segment geometry optimizes disc rotor magnetic circuits
Our fan-shaped segmented tiles deliver uniform magnetic flux distribution across flat rotors. Backed by our mature wet-pressing forming process, ferrite segments effectively resist cracking during high-volume manufacturing. The slim profile also reduces overall rotor weight, maximizing the core strengths of axial flux motors: compact footprint and lightweight structure.
Compliant with mainstream commercial application standards
Our rare-earth-free ferrite axial flux solutions reach IE4/IE5 high-efficiency grades, fully satisfying the performance demands of:
▫️ Automotive auxiliary axial flux water pumps & cooling fans
▫️ Flat BLDC motors for household appliances
▫️ Industrial circulation pumps and HVAC fan drive units
▫️ In-wheel axial flux motors for light two-wheelers
Open discussion for all motor engineers
What is your most challenging technical hurdle when designing rare-earth-free axial flux motors?
Is it magnet breakage, magnetic flux tuning, or tight rotor assembly tolerances? Drop your thoughts in the comments — I’m eager to share insights and exchange technical views with industry professionals.
We offer fully customized fan-shaped anisotropic ferrite magnet segments for axial flux prototype validation and bulk production orders. Send your rotor drawings via DM to get free test samples and dedicated technical support.

Wet Pressed Anisotropic Ferrite Magnets – Better Magnetism for Your Motors
15th June 2026
What’s the biggest difference between wet-pressed and dry-pressed ferrite magnets?
Our wet pressing technology mixes ferrite powder with water slurry, orienting magnetic grains fully under magnetic field during molding. This makes our magnets own obvious advantages:
✅ Higher remanence & stronger magnetic force
✅ Ultra-uniform magnetic performance, tiny tolerance deviation
✅ Superior anti-demagnetization & high temperature stability
✅ Natural anti-rust, no extra coating cost
✅ Less magnetic attenuation after long-time operation
We produce all common shapes: arc magnet tiles, square blocks, rings, special irregular shapes.
Widely used in:
▪ Automotive auxiliary motors
▪ Washing machine / air conditioner fan motors
▪ Water pumps, garden power tools
▪ Industrial small drive motors
Certifications: IATF16949, full raw material inspection.
We provide one-stop service: drawing customization, sample testing, mass production, customized packaging.
If you are sourcing stable quality ferrite magnets for motor manufacturing, feel free to send your drawing or requirements. We will offer free samples and competitive factory price.
